In Reitrain we build the devices our software needs.
tolinax develops its own device line here: displays, terminals and controllers for the aYOUne platform. Two lasers, four 3D printers, a vinyl cutter, an embroideryEmbroideryFinishing textiles with embroidered motifs or lettering, for example for workwear, merchandise or club apparel. Embroidery is durable and looks high-quality. tolinax offers embroidery as a service in… machine and a card printer stand at Tegernseer Straße 89. When the machines stand idle, we also produce for the Tegernsee valley.
First a lab, then a workshop
Since August 2024 the research lab of tolinax has sat in the Reitrain district. We research, build and test the hardware for our software here: housing, circuit board, finished terminal.
We keep filament, acrylic, plywood, blank cards and embroidery thread in stock in Rottach-Egern. Between two research projects the machines stand still. We pass that time on to businesses, clubs and private customers from the valley.
A laser or a card printer is rare between Gmund and Kreuth. Anyone who otherwise drives to Munich can now collect the part in Rottach-Egern.

Laser cutting — plywood up to 8 mm, acrylic up to 10 mm, plus leather, felt and cork. Laser engraving — wood, acrylic, slate, anodised aluminium and stainless steel. 3D printing — FDM in PLA, PETG, ASA and TPU, plus resin for fine detail. Vinyl cutting — adhesive film for sign, shop window and vehicle, flex and flock for textile. Embroidery — workwear, club textiles, caps and terry cloth, from 1 piece. From file to box, in three steps
StepSTEPA vendor-neutral CAD format that carries the design geometry — unlike an STL, which is only a triangle mesh. Anyone who wants us to adapt a part should supply STEP. 1 of 3 · You send Through the shop with a file upload or through the form on the contact page. A photo of the broken part is enough to start.
Step 2 of 3 · We calculate You get a quote. A simple part goes quickly, a development project takes longer than two days. We say up front when something will not work.
Step 3 of 3 · You collect If a print job arrives in the morning and the machine is free, the part is often ready that afternoon. Collection in Rottach-Egern has no minimum quantity.
